I’m no Bible scholar. Heck, I don’t it even read it as much as I probably should. I can pick out both Greek and Hebrew from a line-up, and maybe even recognize a word or three in those Biblical texts. But even a good English translation can provide a lifetime of lessons. Now and again, I meditate on some of these gems, and thought I’d share them here with both of my readers.

Also, I am a SADEL - a self-appointed defender of the English language. I am troubled by the steady deteriation of my native language by native speakers. Every once in awhile, I like to vent such frustrations here as well.
